Kindergarten 2027 Information Evening

MHPS Big Freeze

Date: Friday 19 June 2026

Time: 1.00pm

On Friday 19 June our school will be hosting 'Big Freeze 12' - an event to raise awareness and funds for much needed research into Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

We are hosting this event to show our support for families in our school community who feel the devastating impact of this disease everyday.

Kaboom Percussion Incursion

Date: Friday 26 June 2026

Time: K-2 at 11:45am and Years 3-6: at 1:45pm

Kaboom Percussion is a popular education program that.is passionate about harnessing the fun side of music, showing the world that music can be played with even the simplest of objects. It demonstrates multiple aspects of the science of sound production in fun and engaging ways, while also showing students how they can recycle and reuse everyday items to craft their own unique musical creations.

Kindergarten Field of Mars Excursion

Date: Friday 3 July 2026

Time: All day

This excursion involves an educational program that aims to enrich our understanding of special places in geography.Students will explore the natural and human features of the Field of Mars Reserve to observe the characteristics of places within the bushland and consider how people can connect with and care for these places. They will use their senses to explore the banks of Buffalo Creek.
