Positive Behaviour for Learning
Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) is a system approach for establishing the social culture, individualised behaviour and academic supports needed for schools to be effective learning environments for all students.
At Middle Harbour Public School we have three key values that create a framework for expectations in our PBL program. They are:
- Respect
- Responsibility
- Personal Best
These values flow over into all areas of school and home life. They provide the reason for the behaviours we expect students to show each day. Posters reminding the students of their expected behaviour are placed around the classrooms and school. Areas that need improving are specifically targeted and lessons are taught to students to help improve the problem.
